The book starts off great. It brings together history and sport in an easily relatable way. The book doesn't really go into much detail about the specifics of what actually happened on the field in a football sense, but mainly focuses on the political aspects of that night. There are some lulls in the later chapters, but overall a good and relatively quick read.
About the author
Don Yaeger has been an author or coauthor on numerous books, including Michael Oher's autobiography I Beat the Odds. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
