About this ebook

“A twisty, roller coaster ride of a debut. Fans of Gone Girl will embrace this equally evocative tale.” —Lisa Gardner, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“I’ve been following her for the past few days. I know where she buys her groceries, where she has her dry cleaning done, where she works. I don’t know the color of her eyes or what they look like when she’s scared. But I will.”

One night, Mia Dennett enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn’t show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. At first Colin Thatcher seems like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia’s life.

When Colin decides to hide Mia in a secluded cabin in rural Minnesota instead of delivering her to his employers, Mia’s mother, Eve, and detective Gabe Hoffman will stop at nothing to find them. But no one could have predicted the emotional entanglements that eventually cause this family’s world to shatter.

An addictively suspenseful and tautly written thriller, The Good Girl is a propulsive debut that reveals how even in the perfect family, nothing is as it seems.

*NO SPOILERS* What a great book. I love the format it was written in. I enjoyed seeing everyone's point of views, except for Mia's. I tried predicting what was going to happen, but I was wrong everytime. This book really shows you how damaged everyone is and how damaged people always seem to find each other. I am so pleased with how it turned out, even though it leaves my mind racing for more answers. I would love to see a book of solely Mia's point of view, it would be interesting to say the least!

This is a really good read. I've heard in other reviews people wish their was more of Mia in her point of view as the other characters but I think the author made a smart move by leaving that till the last, it gave you the oh wow factor in the book that you never saw coming. This is a book that I kept reading wanting to know what happens in the end and I didn't see what was coming.

Whoa, whoa, and oh my goodness whoa! That is my reaction when I read and finished this book. This was truly thrilling and oh so good to enjoy, and I liked how the author wrote story in the views on Eve, Gabe, and Colin and how the the whole kidnapping took a toll on them. But, what really blew my mind is that Mia was behind the entire thing all along, but this whole revenge thing on her father could've been solved without any threats, but still that was quite crazy yet clever.
