About the author

DON MATTINGLY was the long time great Yankee captain and 1985 AL MVP whose stellar career made him one of the most all-time popular ballplayers among fans and players alike. A former hitting instructor for the New York Yankees, he now serves as the manager for the Miami Marlins.
