Historical romance is really starting to come into it's own. I have always thought of it as characters meet fall in love and live happily ever after. But a new crop of authors is giving their own spin to the fairy tale. Sabrina York is the latest author that I have discovered making this genre her own. Mixing action, romance and well written characters she kept me interested until the book was done. Hannah is a lass that knows who she is and is not afraid to let that shine through. Alexander is every inch the tormented hero with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Hannah and the Highlander is a story full of spirit, triumph and adventure. The story speaks for itself. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the chemistry. I loved that there was thos man that while he is big and sexy and almost perfect, he isn't. This was well written and I can't wait to read more from this author.

It was good to read a romance novel where both people dont spend most of their time running from each other.
