It's somewhat conscise, but just so incredibly scattered and illogical in the way ideas are presented or explained. Ideas just don’t flow. Eg. the renal chapter discusses Na reabsorption in one part, then 5 pages later factors affecting it. Cardio physiology is just all over the place too; I would have put blood and it's composition in a separate chapter. There's no appendix for formulas used, and the symbols Ganong uses are so different to most other physiology texts, that if you can't remember them, it takes at least 5 minutes to track down where and what things stand for. Not a fan.
