About this ebook

The Celaran Probe is the seventh book in the PIT series.

Telisa Relachik studied to be a xenoarchaeologist at a time when humans had found alien artifacts but hadn't encountered live aliens. Rather than return to Earth with the modest spoils of the team’s first Celaran expedition, Telisa decides to proceed to another Celaran colony site in an attempt to find living Celarans. New friends and enemies will be discovered beyond the frontier, while big surprises await the PIT team back home.

I'm always glad to see such diverse mindsets in characters, right up there with John Ringo (hope this helps with tagging, genuine comment).

Have you ever noticed how most aliens in Star Trek or Star Wars are just like humans except for maybe their color or attitude or number of arms or some other trivial characteristic? Not McCloskey's aliens. A defining characteristic of his aliens is that they are probably something you would never have imagined yourself. His books are intriguing, absorbing, and mind bending because of this. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
