Breeze (h, 45) is an astrogeologist who's studying the sand on Sajave when she's accidentally caught in a sandstorm. Tack (H, @48) is a cyborg who's isolated himself in a remote cabin on Sajave with only a dog for company, until he finds himself coming to Breeze's rescue. Trapped together in his cabin, Breeze and Tack get to know one another emotionally and sexually, but they both have traumatic pasts that pose challenges to their relationship and neither is sure if they can trust the other.

I thought that this was a very fun read. The blend of emotions, drama, action, adventure, heart, heat, humor, suspense and twists was top-notch and read smoothly and easily. I liked both characters and found my heartstrings tugged on quite firmly as their individual stories were uncovered and their relationship grew. A great start for this new series and I am eager to read future entries. This is my elective, objective review.

There was once an grumpy deceived C-Force Cyborg man with his cyborg dog living the good life in the middle of no where. Running from problems and truing to work it out a sand storm blows in a Astrogeologist. Of course she is female on a mission but so are the bad guys. This is an cyborg Lassie moment. great stuff except for the truth about Tack aka military man/cyborg. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
