Mason Betha—also known as Ma$e—first came on the scene when he performed with Sean “Puffy” Combs on the song “Only You.” In short time his rapping prowess graced several hits: Combs's double platinum "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down," Notorious B.I.G.'s platinum "Mo Money, Mo Problems," Mariah Carey's platinum "Honey," and Puffy's "It's All About The Benjamins." His own debut album, Harlem World sold more than 3 million copies. At the top of his game, Betha turned down a multimillion deal from Combs and instead chose to retire from the industry to "follow God." He became a minister and inspirational public speaker and founded the nondenominational S.A.N.E. (Saving A Nation Endangered) to more positively serve his peers, himself and God. Revelations is his first book.
