O.M.G.!!! If I could give Rylan and Calista's story million stars, I would! The story begins with the present time but there are flashbacks of their histories to let me understand their relationship better. And I'm grateful for those flashbacks because I really want to know why two persons who have known each other for this long and had a lot of histories together decide to break up with each other. Don't worry, the story isn't that angsty. There are a lot of entertaining moments in Piper Rayne's style because both Calista and Rylan can't find the way to come back to each other without a support from their friends and families, LOL. So yes, I feel like I'm riding a roller coaster while I'm reading this book and I enjoy and love every minute I spend reading it. I have waited for so long for Piper Rayne to write this book and it's beyond my expectation. At the end, Calista and Rylan wiggled their way into my heart just like they hope. And now I can't wait for Brinley's story!

This is the story of Rylan Greene and Calista Bailey... I feel like I have been waiting for this story forever. Seeing glimpses of them growing up through the previous series. For them to get their own book is truly a dream come true! This raw and beautiful story is one you don't want to miss!! Joe Arden and Erin Mallon narrate this book to PERFECTION! It is done in duet and I couldn't stop listening when I started. Joe and Erin brought so much emotion to life wheb reading the words of this story. Rylan has been one of my favorite characters and I knew I would love his story no matter how it went. And I could not have asked for a better story than this. I was captured by the very first word and this book held my heart until the end! Rylan and Calista have an angsty story with so much love and longing. This second chance romance will pull on your heartstrings and you will feel all the emotions the characters are. I can't recommend this book enough!

Rylan and Calista had me so thoroughly invested almost from the very first page. At the same time, I really wanted to shake the daylights out of both of them several times (some of those at the same time). I loved them both, but it was like this pair was determined to mess things up at every opportunity.
