About this ebook

"I've met someone else... we're in love... I want a divorce."

Beatrice is starting her life over after her husband broke the news of his affair moments before their anniversary party and vow renewal.

His revelation derails her. Her children have left home and she’d always imagined she and her husband would travel and grow old together. But now she’s unsure of where her life is headed.

With nowhere left to turn, she goes home to Coral Island to visit her estranged father. She stays in the old beach cottage from her childhood years and uncovers a hidden roll of fifty-year-old undeveloped photos. Who put them there and why?

Will she find answers & purpose on the island, rekindling old friendships and rediscovering a long-lost love? Or will she be driven back to the city and her failed marriage?

The perfect beach read, this women’s divorce fiction novel will take you on a heartwarming journey of renewal with its cast of endearing characters and scenic coastal vistas.

If you love women’s fiction and small-town clean romance, take a trip to Coral Island today.

The Coral Island series is full of family drama, friendship, sweet romance, second chances and mystery. This is the first book in an ongoing series and ends on a cliff hanger.

I enjoyed this start to a new series. We follow Beatrice as she goes back to her roots after her husband’s affair and break up. I really like stories that give you all the feels with small town drama, a big emphasis on family, friends and starting over late in life. The book ends with an interesting ending that gets you hooked for the next book in the series. I would recommend this women’s fiction novel. I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Starting Over at Mid-Life This book is the first episode of a new series. I am excited to read this series as I get so invested in this author's cooks. This episode starts off with a 45-year-old woman who moves back to her childhood home after her husband dumps her. It is a good story that introduces us to the island life and the interesting characters who live there. The story ends with a nice hook for the next book. She is one of my favorite authors. You'll love this series.
