Ratings and reviews

I started the second book and was not impressed. Got to chapter 15. The first bit is ok but a couple chapters in, she's waking up in bed with her lover whose husband is home early. Then she's totally taken by a meemaid that is shaking her breasts at her. Too much lust and not enough story. I lost interest. Also, plot hole that might have been addressed later on. She's over 100 and pan hurt her when she was young. Tinkerbell is his side kick but her pixie will only live a couple years? Does the queen live longer or has he has several in a row?

This story had me hooked from the very beginning. Hook is a fascinating character who has many facets and hides most of them. This story is action packed and gives an unexpected view of Neverland and the characters we love (or hate). I love Buzz and I can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead.

Hook in this case is a young woman, determined to rescue the lost boys, keep that pesky faerie at bay from the boy suffering from it, and hmmm. The Sirens. A very different setting for action, adventure and sometimes steamy sometimes twisted romances. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
