Never have I read a book and been so hypnotized by the author's ability to identify various different characters through subtle speech patterns and diction. This book made me aspire to have this ability one day. The story is grounded in reality even though it's characters are fantastical. You're hooked from the start and find yourself rooting for the bag guys. Definitely a great read and good for another visit afterwards.

Grimy. Ugly. Raw. Brilliant. I mean, it's Irvine Welsh!?! What else can I say? The man is a genius. Cheers, PVH
