I also have this book in audio, and I'm incredibly impressed with the detailed historical research that went into this book. it's so thorough that I felt like I was right there in the deep forest or up on the treacherous paths through the mountains. it's also an interesting take on vampires. These aren't the beautiful Anne Rice or twighlight vampires. I don't want to give too much away. I highly recommend this book!

Brian Lumley is the author of the bestselling Necroscope series of vampire novels.
