About this ebook

Leadership can be murder...

Head Witch Zoe Clarke is heading to court. Since her election, a rash of magical mysteries have haunted her administration, and now Head Warlock Heath Highmore, Zoe’s partner and close friend, stands accused of murder.

But when a prominent witness turns up dead and the court of public opinion accuses Heath of orchestrating the murder to silence his opponents, Zoe refuses to let her friend take the fall for a crime she’s certain he could never have committed.

From the Head Warlock’s power-hungry family to the many political enemies he’s made over the years, Zoe’s convinced someone has framed Heath and left him to hang — especially when another witness drops dead.

Can Zoe expose the real killer and prove Heath’s innocence? Or will the culprit be their judge, jury, and executioner?

Witches and Witnesses is the ninth book in the Magic and Mystery series of witch cozy mysteries. If you like paranormal prosecutions, wicked witnesses, and magical murder mysteries, then you’ll love this lighthearted ninth entry in Lily Webb’s spellbinding series.

Of course Head Witch Zoey cannot have an uninterrupted and peaceful pregnancy. Not sure there really is such a thing. A period of relative calm comes to an abrupt and spectacular end with the death of someone connected to a person close to her. Evil and darkness seek to rise and to use a variety of mystical forces and elements to assist them. Only actions and tokens of love and selflessness might preserve the bulk of them now. Not all key characters will survive Intense action and adventure with touching moments of friendship and love, as well as acts and moments of abject horror I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Of course nothing is ever quiet for Zoe and the town of Moon Grove and this time it is close to home with her friends and mentor Head Warlock Heath Highmore and as he is Head Warlock things about to get really bad for him if she doesn't find the real killer! I really liked how we got to know more about Heath and why he had such drive and passion about what he does, it was also fun to see Zoe realise she had to slow down for the babies although there were times I got really worried for everyone's safety!! I am soo excited to see what happens with Zoe and her family next!!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Head Witch Zoe Clarke is back and in investigative mode when Head Wizard Heath Highmore is accused of murder. She's determined to find out who the killer is before another body is found. The story is intriguing and filled with mystery, magic, suspense, witches, shifters, warlocks and so much more. This is book nine and a great addition to the Magic & Mystery series. I am loving this series and Zoe is one of my favorite characters.
