A poorly written end to 20 years of novels. The men save the Universe while the women act like - no women I've ever met. SPOILERS follow: Deanna as a future maid Marion was bad. Crusher losing it over her son and being helped by Picard giving her a kiss 'as long as she needed' was worse. Keyhler meeting an alternate version of her universe's Hitler-squared and throwing herself at him after 1 conversation may be the worst writing ever. About anything! I am unbelievably shocked - and DURING that nonsense Worf scoffs at the thought of a Troi and Barclay couple from an alternate universe. The irony was not pleasant, and the coupling was beyond gross. it's not the 1980s anymore and this would have been mediocre writing for women then. it's Star Trek in 2021, dude. I'm sorry. I hope this is constructive somehow because I expected way better from you.
