When one grows up in a bubble, all they want is to break out. That is Rose's long term plan. Her Dad is in the prime of his political career and she is his perfect daughter, always along his side. Rose just wants to work the foster care system and ensure the cases that come across her desk never fall through the cracks. Jase is the acting CEO for a successful Fortune 500 company and has a large family. He has everything at his finger tips but is looking for the 'Ryan' click that his siblings have found. One night, Jase and Rose through caution to the wind and take a chance. The spark is there but their are hurdles and feelings that need to be talked about to make their marriage real. A great story with lots of previous character exposure. The Ryan's are an amazing family and I love reading how they always come together to support one another. Lots of love and steam as well. Rose and Jase have one night of intense passion, that goes far beyond the physical. Three months later and both are pushed into a situation neither is ready for. Add in politics, a wealthy family business, and some serious jadededness and this story his almost all the buttons. This story briefly mentions Club Eros, but we don't get to visit it in this story. I am hoping that maybe we'll see this happy couple there in the future, though. This was a delightful story in the series to read, and I love all the tie-ins to previous from the series. I love this series!! Each book takes you on a emotional Rollercoaster as the Ryan clan finds the other half of their soul. Jace and Rose have some very hot chemistry in and out of the bedroom but have trust issues. A fascinating story and a real pleasure to read. It had me feeling all their emotions and I don't normally do that. Great story to add to my collection!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anya grew up listening to Cardinals baseball and reading anything she could get her hands on. She remembers her mother saying if only she would read the right type of books instead binging her way through the romance aisles at the bookstore, she’d have been a doctor. While Anya never did get that doctorate, she graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with an M.A. in History.
