About this ebook

The legendary lost Doctor Who story from the unique mind of Douglas Adams

Inside this book is another book – the strangest, most important and most dangerous book in the entire universe.

The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey is one of the Artefacts, dating from dark days of Rassilon. It wields enormous power, and it must not be allowed to fall into the wrong hands.

Skagra – who believes he should be God and permits himself only two smiles per day – most definitely has the wrong hands.

Beware Skagra. Beware the Sphere. Beware Shada.

Having seen a lot of the original series but not this particular story arc, I'm pleased to say that I very much enjoyed this novel and found myself impressed with how close Roberts emulated Adams' style. I can see myself reading it again in the future, and had a hard time putting it down. Small chapters were ideal for smartphone reading.

Very classic Dr Who and also very recognisable as Douglas Adams style. I hope it's not too much of a spoiler to say that there was a character who appeared and was killed off almost immediately and yet they were so well written that I cared about them a ridiculous amount.

A fantastic Doctor Who story. Douglas Adams and the fourth Doctor, a very fine combination indeed.
