A good beginning with several plots, who is leaving an item in her house on the anniversary of the death of her husband. The job that Jonas and Meredith do for the US Marshall office, and the hint of a romance. Will she move or stay in Seattle. Good characters with Madison and Jonas, and the touch of family. Excellent beginning to a new series that features U.S. Marshals In this book Madison James and Jonas Quinn are hot on the trail of a murderous escaped prisoner who seems to stay one step ahead of them repeatedly. The chase made the book fast-paced and the characters were realistic and three dimensional. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next book in the series. I received a complimentary copy of the book from Revell, but the opinions expressed are my own. I wasn’t required to write a positive review.
