I've read several books written by Lucinda Race; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Cowboys of River Junction Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Annie & Linc; she moves back to run the family business after her grandfather’s death; he’s the manager and the man that broke her heart. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

I’ve read several books by this author and this is one of my favorites. Annie and Lincoln are former sweethearts, but he breaks up with her, so she’ll leave and follow her dreams. Now, her Pops has passed away and left the ranch to her. When she returns, she knows she’ll see Linc, but she thinks she can handle it. Linc can’t wait to catch a glimpse of Annie and he’ll take any chance to work with her. This book has several amazing characters that I hope we’ll get to read about in future book

This is the first book in the Cowboys of River Junction series. If you've read Apple Blossoms in Montana you'll recognize the town and a few characters, but you don't have to read it to enjoy this book. Annie and Linc's story is a sweet second chance romance. It brought a smile to my face and made me want to visit River Junction. It seems like the perfect place to recharge your soul. Linc broke Annie's heart years ago for what he believed were the right reasons. She's home now but will she stay and run the ranch or sell and go back to Boston?
