About this ebook

Forecasting is required in many situations. Stocking an inventory may require forecasts of demand months in advance. Telecommunication routing requires traffic forecasts a few minutes ahead. Whatever the circumstances or time horizons involved, forecasting is an important aid in effective and efficient planning.

This textbook provides a comprehensive introduction to forecasting methods and presents enough information about each method for readers to use them sensibly.

DOES NOT WORK WHEN DOWNLOADED!!!! It tells you to install this Adobe Digital Editions, but that doesn't connect up with google play even though it says it does. Its supposed to be able to export to PDF so I can get it into apple books, but I can't get Adobe to work, like at all. Basically, I bought the book, got this .acsm file back and then I had to upload it to some hackerware looking website to get it to unlock and turn into a PDF. After that, sure I could get it into apple books, but the links didn't work, the table of contents wasn't clickable, etc. I already a version of this w/o links and a TOC, I just paid full price for another version. SUPER DUMB. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. SKIP. GO AWAY.

I regret this order. I do not know how to dispose of this book in pdf format directly. My wish is to print this book. Even if the book is very interesting, I am disappointed with this experience.

I used it for my first paper on forecasting. In the end I gave a huge shout out to Rob. Highly recommended.
