About this ebook

The seductive and stunning #1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas's spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.

As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world in turmoil.

Bestselling author Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her dazzling, sexy, action-packed series to new heights.

there's basically no character growth. the dialogue is taken directly from whatever goes into the worst written romance novels. and the characters themselves react in the least realistic ways to every little thing. I found myself dragging my eyes through the book so that I could say I had read it, but being entirely unwilling to actually finish it. tripe.

Strap in yall we are going through the emotional rollercoaster. I go back and forth with the characters quite a bit. Do we like Tamlin? Do we not? We watch him fight for control over Feyra. But what about Rys? He does a lot of developing in this book. I love when a book makes its characters feel real, and these graphic audios? They really enhance the emotion. I also love the world building done in this one. Welcome to Velaris, the city of Starlight.

It was alright. Look forward to more Nesta. Perhaps even her own dedicated chapters? Would have loved to have her perspective. Not the best read. Enjoyed all the characters except Feyre which is probably why I have a hard time reading, because I dislike her... Anyways, it was alright.
