About the author

Hassan I. Galadari gained his MBBS (ranked first in class) from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, UAE in 2002. He subsequently participated in the Dermatology Residency Program in Boston, USA (Boston University–Tufts University Joint Program) and completed a Fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Laser at the University of California, San Francisco in 2008. Dr. Galadari is currently a Consultant Dermatologist at Tawam Hospital – Johns Hopkins Medicine, Al Ain, UAE. He is also Dermatology Residency Program Director and Assistant Professor – Dermatology in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UAE University. He has twice received the HH Sheikh Rashid Award for Academic Excellence. He is affiliated to a variety of professional bodies and is a board member of the International League of Dermatological Societies.. Dr. Galadari has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
