Former Army Special Forces, Mica Ford, is a bounty hunter now. He likes the work and likes being his own boss. Mica has no intention of accepting a job with MBH, but he watches Amy work up the courage to demand her chance. Her sincerity and courage impress him, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s cute as hell. He finds himself accepting a trial run working with the team and then commits to training Amy—just to make sure she stays safe. However, keeping her safe while teaching her how to hunt becomes a challenge when Amy starts improvising during takedowns…

I really am loving this series. Amy wanted her shot to work with Dead Horse Bounty Hunters and when Mica takes her under his wing and trains her. Fast paced, action packed and edged in danger. I loved the suspense and intensity in this story plus the wonderful romance that develops between Amy and Mica. Another well done book with a unique storyline and engaging characters. Mica is a loner. He is a bounty hunter without a partner or a team and he likes it that way. I love his smirks and his way of caring for Amy. He falls fast, maybe even first. This is another great story in the Montana Bounty Hunters series. Amy has a goal. She wants to be a bounty hunter and nothing is going to stand in her way. I love her grit and get determination. We get to revisit with a chunk if the team and with grouchy Nadine. We have humor and easy banter and action and so much heat. I enjoy these stories so much. This was a great story! Not just a another Bounty Hunter story, this one comes with love and laughter. Mica doesn't know the force of nature he walked up behind in the MBH Offices, but he wants to. Amy feels like she has something to prove to herself and the people of Dead Horse. Can the attraction felt smoulder to a raging fire, or will it flame out? Wonderful characters as always with the Bounty Hunter stories. I'm going to miss them!
