Another deliciously enjoyable story from Forest River, reminiscent of how petty some adults can be! Following on from the first novel in this series, Go On, Girl, this time round the story focuses on a different member of the Forest Rivers PTA. Claire Conroy has always been a committed mom to her three children; unlike their father who has other priorities. When the marriage ends in them splitting up, the rumour mill goes into overdrive and Claire has a really hard time of it. Trusting that her friends in the PTA have her back, Claire forges ahead with creating a new life for herself and her children, but she underestimates the determination of one other parent . . . It's fair to say I loved the first book, so when the author offered me an arc copy of this one I jumped at the chance to read and review it - and now I'm hoping she continues with this series so it covers all the other moms! Having been a single parent when my kids were young, I know how vicious the trouble-makers can be, and Hilary Grossman has her finger bang on the pulse! With warmth, fun and a tinge of sadness the story unfolds and I was rooting for Claire all the way through! A fabulous novel - every bit as entertaining as the first - and a worthy sequel. Appealing and true-to-life, this is an original and humorous read from a talented author, and one I'm very happy to give a full five stars.
