I have said this of each book in the series but it still feels true; Declan is my favorite book in the Faraday Country series. I have loved every one of these wonderful books, but I have had a crush on DJ from the beginning. Delightful humor, lovely romance, tense moments carry this sweet novel forward. Life gets more interesting all the time! Yes, the dog was back! You probably know enough about the book to realize the current hook up is between DJ and Becky, not a connection we might have expected, but the transition is handled believably. With Becky’s lifelong crush on DJ’s brother Ethan, our favorite lawman is upset that he is falling for the girl he grew up with, but she is no longer a girl and she is seeing him through new eyes too. A new person in town is causing a major stir and contributing to the newest relationship to bud after a visit from our mystic dog, and an old situation boils over bringing frightening results. I requested and received an early reader copy of Declan from the author because I love her books. The review is completely voluntary and all my own opinion. I always review books I love and love it I do.

With each new Farraday sibling I find myself falling deeper in love with this family. When the chips are down, it's nice to know that someone has your back through good, bad and everything in between. With Declan, Ms. Keniston showed the evolution of family. From broken heart, surprise delivery and falling in love, the author went for simple, with loads of heart and a little bit of magic to create the sweetest dream come to life. Can I just say that I'm loving the phantom dog with a heart of gold and a penchant disappearing and reappearing to lend a helping hand.

Wow! All that love for such a little one! So much testosterone and estrogen with way too much discipline!! LOL! Wonderful story line, rich characters. Gray at work again!!
