Rick Hayes is a space pirate and one hell of a pilot. He is not interested in settling down, his family is the crew and he has al, he wants. However, as the last man standing, fate seems to have other ideas. Great ending to the Space Lords series, well crafted and nice that some loose story threads are tied off. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this series of the space pirates and this was a fitting end. Rick is footloose and fancy free. At least that is what he thinks until he meets Harper. She captures him and something about her is familiar but he just cannot put his finger on why. The story is a bit patchy, especially at the beginning but hang in there and it turns into an enjoyable and amusing read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rick has finally got his HEA! It's about time. I mean, I know he's the one who cursed the crew with his slights towards an antagonistic ancestral spirit, but really isn't that just typical Rick?? LOL Rick may be a superb pilot but his motormouth usually lands him in all kinds of trouble. When he meets Harper it's almost like Deja vu but she keeps him at a distance - that's just like a red rag to a bull! But during a virtual reality convention thy bump into one another again whilst the crew are trying to...ahem "liberate" some new tech. But Harper is in a bit of a sticky situation and for once Rick manages to use his big gob to get her out of trouble. I loved learning more about Rick's childhood and the friend he lost and how that affected his outlook on life. This crew really are like a bickering, dysfunctional family but god help anyone who takes on one of them - this crew sticks together! Great end to the series!
