About the author

Giuseppe Carbone is Assistant Professor at the University of Cassino and South Lazio (Italy). He is author of about 300 papers that have been published in scientific journals and in proceedings of international conferences. He is Treasurer of IFToMM Italy (Member Organization of the IFToMM, International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science) and Organizing Chair of the Second International Conference of IFToMM Italy (IFIT 2018).
Alessandro Gasparetto is Full Professor of Mechanics of Machines at the University of Udine (Italy). He is author of around 200 publications in scientific journals and in the proceedings of international conferences. He is President of IFToMM Italy (Member Organization of the IFToMM, International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science) and Chair of the IFToMM Permanent Commission for the History of Mechanism and Machine Science.
