've been anxiously awaiting the final installment of the A Life Without Water series. I was enthralled with the first two books and so I was very excited to see where Carol's journey took her next. After losing her husband Tobais in a horrible accident, Carol is still grieving him over a year later. Having reconnected with her ex-husband before his death and forgiving him for many things from their past and also grieving the loss of their daughter from years prior, Carol knows that now she has to figure out what is next for her. While Carol has plenty of people in her life who love her and want to help her grieve her loss of Tobias, she feels like it is something she needs to do for herself. She sets out on an adventure that has her crossing paths with strangers who leave her with things to think about and reflect on, plus she's able to reconnect with family who pledge to support her. She also reconnects with someone else special from her past who is willing to do whatever he can to be there for her. Will she be able to see her way out of the dark period she's in and realize she still has so much to live for? This was such a wonderful way to end this series. Marci Bolden did such a great job in crafting a story that made me feel all of the emotions and had me rooting for Carol. I also commend Bolden for portraying grief and the effects of it so realistically. This is a series that I highly recommend. It is one that needs to be read in order, but you won't be sorry if you pick them up!

This is the final book in A Life Without Water Series and it continues the poignant life and story of Carol Denman. This is not a standalone book you need to read the previous two books to understand Carol's history and everything that she has gone through and lost. Carol is still trying to overcome what she has lost and she feels like she is drowning in her grief and needs professional help to be able to move forward with her life and she is hoping that the trip she is taking to tick of some things on Tobia bucket list that he never got to do but how will things go. You can feel all of Carol's pain as if you are going through it yourself and it breaks you heart and as it is so emotional and you hope that she can eventually find happiness. This book and series was absolutely amazing and I couldn't put it down as I had to keep reading to see what would happen next to Carol and omg she really went through the ringer and the ending was just what she needed. I have been fortunate to read all of Marci Bolden's books and I have loved every single one as she is an amazing author and writer but this series has been my all time favourite and a true masterpiece. Thank You so much Marci for writing this series and I know that Carol's story will stay with me and other readers for a long time. I definitely recommend you read this series and you will definitely not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this book and series.

About the author

As a teen, Marci Bolden skipped over young adult books and jumped right into reading romance novels. She never left. Marci lives in the Midwest with her husband, two teenaged kiddos, and numerous rescue pets. If she had an ounce of will power, Marci would embrace healthy living but until cupcakes and wine are no longer available at the local grocery store, she’ll put that ambition on hold and appease her guilt by reading self-help books and promising to join a gym “soon.”
