About this ebook

Allison Jackson has a secret.

And she’s trying hard to keep it from everyone in Harland Creek.

Struggling to get new clients for her interior decorating business, trying to keep her bossy older brother Sloan from interfering in her personal life, and attempting to keep her friends in the dark is starting to wear on her. Not to mention whenever she looks at Mitch Wood, her stomach turns to butterflies. But her brother’s best friend won’t ever feel the same way about her.

Police officer, Mitch Wood has always loved the one girl he could never have. Allison Jackson. If his best friend Sloan caught wind that he was in love with his little sister, Mitch would be picking his teeth up off the floor and their friendship would be over.

But when Allison offers to help Mitch remodel his late grandmother’s house, he can’t refuse. Working late hours together, might be all the push he needs to make his intentions clear. Allison’s not the only one hiding a secret.

When secrets are revealed can their love survive the truth or will they both end up tearing their friendship apart.

Another heartwarming book in this beautiful series of faith, hope, forgiveness, and love. We've met the people of Harland Creek, the good, the not-so-good, smart, funny, and those that believe that faith will send them on the right path (usually with a nudge from a friend). In each story, the author writes the path taken by some of Harland's citizens. But what has me loving these stories is the author does not forget her previous characters from the town; you know that saying about it takes a village, well in this instance the "towns" characters have a hand in getting the story told. We now get to read Allison's and Mitch's journey to love, a love that's always been felt but never shared. Read how an old house finally helps them see the truth. I recommend this book to all those who know, that with the right person, love is real.

This is the sixth book in the Harland Creek series, a Small Town Romance. Allison and Mitch's story is beautifully written, sweet and heartwarming. Allison is such a beautiful character, smart, and caring. Mitch a police officer, is handsome, supportive, and protective. They are perfect together. This is a great brother's best friend romance. The supporting characters are great. Allison's brother Sloan is very protective! I liked to see again the characters from the previous books. I liked the characters, the sweet and entertaining storyline, the little suspense, and the beautiful ending. Looking forward for more in the series.

Allison has been attracted to her brother’s best friend Mitch for years, but she doesn’t think he returns her feelings and knows her brother would never approve anyway. Plus she feels like the biggest fool when it comes to men after her ex stole her inheritance. Financially she’s in over her head and is determined to figure a way out on her own, but she should have let her friends and family in on her problems. Mitch might have been a playboy in the past, but he has eyes for only one girl and is thinking marriage and family in his grandmother’s house he’s working with Allison to restore. There was some suspense with an agent tailing Allison and her ex returning. Her friend Tabitha was a funny loose cannon in this book, but she has some surprising skills. Mitch was a sexy swoon worthy hero.
