There is no denying that the war has begun and Max and Sera’s story is only the tip of the iceberg which has me on pins and needles waiting for the next story, especially after what happened at the battle in Mount Olympus. I was VERY worried about reading this book. The last book—SON OF NO ONE—was a tough read and ended so abruptly, I thought part of the story was missing. Well, I didn’t have to worry because DRAGONBANE was awesome! I started it last night and read all the way through to the wee hours of the morning until I finished it! First of all, I loved that it was nonstop action from start to finish. Constant battles, CRAZY alliances and even crazier actions set into motion! My mind was blown so many times, I could put the book down because I was afraid I’d miss something! I did have a few issues with some of the characters. It wasn’t the characters per se but the revelations about the characters. First they were one thing, then they were another until finally their true origins were revealed. It was confusing at times and difficult to keep up with, which took me out of the story but fortunately, the action drew me back in! I also loved that DRAGONBANE filled in a lot of holes in the Were-Hunter universe. I love the intricate complexities and wild oxy-morons of the series. When you think that something just couldn’t be possible, it is. And will exceed all of your expectations. I will say though that I didn’t much care for the heroine, Seraphina. Her betrayal was unforgivable in my eyes and while it worked out in the story, in the end, I couldn’t get behind her. All-in-all, it was an entertaining story that I really enjoyed.

I liked the book but it felt like just a bridge to get the readers information. So much happened that it felt like no story was actually completed. I felt lost and confused at time. It's just missing something.
