This book is filled with shallow two dimensional characters predictable outcomes and way to much redundant techno babble! The author seems to pride himself on attention to details but that approach only works when said details further the story not hinder it. I must say that the so called alien conquerers in this book are so stupid that they make imperial stormtroopers look like Rhodes scholars. If I were given a choice between reading this book and having a tooth pulled I'd have to think about it......

These books (all four) could easily be cut some 50-100 pages if the author didn't feel the need at every docking to explain how many rotations per minute the habitat rings where doing etc. Same goes for everything else, feels like 30 percent of these books are cut and paste of writings from earlier in the book or earlier in the series.

I have an evo 3d (android 2.3) with Google's books app installed and I've purchased books before.. But this one is the only one that doesn't open.. Due to a server error? . I prefur to actually read this book instead of reporting a refund request for not providing me with a digital copy after the purchase. Please help
