About the author

Neeraj Khare is a Scientist in the Superconductivity Group, National Physical Laboratory at New Delhi, India. A member of Indian scientific societies, Dr. Khare is the author or coauthor of more than 80 professional publications. He received the B.Sc. (1977) and M.Sc. (1979) degrees from Allahabad University, India, and the Ph.D. degree (1986) in physics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He is the recipient of the Indian Science Congress Association Young Scientist Award (1983), the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Young Scientist Award (1991) and the Material Research Society of India Medal Award (1998).
