I love Susannah Nix and I enjoy her writing style. She never disappoints. She has great world building that allows the reader to be immersed and engaged throughout. Her heroines are amazing but complicated while her heroes are gorgeous and beautifully flawed. Casey and Gareth are no exception. They have such great chemistry that flows naturally. This friends to lovers is a slow burn inferno! Nix has quickly become a one-click, no questions asked author for me.

Friends to Lovers is always one of my favorite troupes. I had trouble putting this one down to go to bed last night. I would have stayed up to finish it, but I had a meeting this morning. Casey and Gareth are a wonderful couple who really deserve each other. I was so happy they fell into the role of lovers so easily. The story was funny and entertaining. I started it last night, and before I knew it, I was halfway through. I also enjoy the cameos from past characters from this series. I look forward to more books in this series.

I read this book in one day. I inhaled it! Absolutely fabulous! Best of all, NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP! I LOVE an older main character who is a virgin. And when those characters have read romance novels and are already having solo sex, swoony swoon swoon swoon! I am standing ovation cheering for Susannah Nix's inclusion of conversations and acknowledgement that virginity is a construct of the patriarchy, and also for Casey still wanting to have partner sex.
