Unterrichtsentwurf aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Sachunterricht, Heimatkunde, Universität Bremen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Papierverbrauch ist in Deutschland etwa 5 mal so hoch wie der weltweite Durchschnitt. Zur Papierherstellung werden ca. 20 % des weltweit geschlagenen Holzes verwendet. Ein großer Teil dafür stammt aus Urwäldern in Skandinavien, Kanada und Sibirien. Um Papier herzustellen, sind vielfältige Arbeitsschritte erforderlich, die nicht unerhebliche Belastungen für die Umwelt mit sich bringen. Das Unterrichtsmodell greift diese Problematik auf. Ebenso werden Handlungsalternativen benannt und die eigene Herstellung von „Recyclingpapier“ erprobt.
