Don't let the flashy cover persuade you, the main thesis of this book (ironically) can be explained in 5 seconds. The rest of the pages are dedicated to tweet endorsement filler-- her explanations, too, are redundant at best. If you want to save a couple bucks, I suggest listening to her Ted Talk. I would give this book a hard pass

Honestly, I didn't like this book very much. It's a good lesson and it may help you to take control of your life, that's all the book is going for itself. Otherwise it's dull, tiring and at times you will probably feel that it's a gigantic advertisement about a book packaged and being sold as a book. Too many tweets, too many sentences describing why you need it. Also, the concept itself is nothing new, so the author hasn't really invented it.

For a 5 second rule book, it took a whole lot of print to get to the 5 second rule application and methodology. You can pretty much get the idea by the 3 Chapter, and while I appreciate the supporting g comments of all tweeters....way too many , just the same I'll take the important messages that Mel conveys through out the book
