Interesting plot ruined by bad choice of words. I couldn't read to the end because of the awful malapropisms. "A grueling face"?? "Disesteem"?? Even my computer knows better. Keep language simpler and similes rarer. Shame.

A good murder mystery that enlightens the gruff main character as he searches for the truth. This is a start of a series worth reading, each book has end. I will purchase more when I can.

Great story, but found the author went into too much detail, causing the story to drag on more than it needed to.
