A 24-year- old college student, Natalie, is searching for her biological parents. She was adopted from a Russian orphanage and is desperate for answers. As her attempts to hire investigators have failed, a mysterious stranger with a Russian accent walks into her life with an outrageous claim; her father sent him to protect her. Sevastyan is sent to the Nebraska to watch over his boss’s daughter. When enemies are sent after Natalie, Sevastyan has no choice but to follow orders and bring her back to Russia for protection. After dragging a half-naked Natalie from her home and a haphazard chase through a cornfield, Sevastyan and Natalie are alone on a private jet for the extremely long flight back. What will they do to pass the time? This book has the hottest, most page-melting, sensually erotic scenes I’ve ever read! The chemistry is beyond explosive between Natalie and her tall, dark and dangerous Russian. I can’t tell you how many times I blushed, fanned myself, or squirmed in my seat while reading this erotically charged story! The dialog titillated as well as had me laughing out loud on several occasions. I also enjoyed watching Natalie connect to and develop a relationship with her father. Natalie also meets a distant cousin, Filip, who I don’t trust one bit. He uses his killer good looks as a weapon and while Natalie hasn’t seen his true colors yet, I fear the results may be deadly. It is a thrilling tale of danger, intrigue, and seduction in a dog-eat-dog world. You cannot go wrong with THE PROFESSIONAL. I HIGHLY recommend it to all Kresley Cole fans and anyone who loves a gorgeous Russian man who demands control, in and out of the bedroom…or the jet…or the maid’s closet :) ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I wished that the heroine was more interesting she is so confused most of the book. The constant back and forth of "why won't be tell me anything" got old real quick every time he would shut her up with sex... it got so bad that I didn't even read the last few chapters. I liked book 2 more.

I think I just fell in love with Kresley Cole. Her writing is just phenomenal. And I don't say that often. I've read countless books that have the synopsis to draw me in but lack the writing to keep me reading. Anyways, I've already spent well over a hundred dollars buying pretty much all her books including the whole series of immortals after dark
