About this ebook

A tear-free approach to child separation blues-from the bestselling 'No Cry' author a generation of parents have come to trust

Almost every child suffers some sort of anxiety during their first six years of life. Babies cry when grandparents hold them, toddlers cling to mommy's leg, children weep when their parent leaves them at daycare, at school, or to go to work. This can cause frustration and stress in an already too-busy day and can break a parent's heart. Trusted parenting author Elizabeth Pantley brings you another winning no-cry formula that helps you solve these common separation issues. Pantley helps you identify the source of anxiety and offers simple but proven solutions. This successful method gives anxious children something to remind them their parents aren't too far away-instantly providing them with the comfort and reassurance they need.

As a Baby Planner in Charlotte, my specialty is assisting moms returning to work after having a baby. After baby sleep concerns, separation anxiety is the most common concern from my clients. For baby sleep issues, the no-cry sleep solution by Elizabeth Pantley is my #1 go-to resource. So of course I was excited about the publication of the no-cry separation anxiety solution by Elizabeth Pantley. This is a very easy to read book and one where in a moment of frustration, you can flip quickly to reference a topic. The author explains the origin of separation anxiety – ensuring that you will never feel embarrassed, ashamed or apologetic for your child’s emotions. This book doesn’t only address leaving a child at day-care – it addresses bedtime fears, babysitter scenarios and even those short gym child watch drop-offs. The book is full of practical, easy to implement suggestions. You can pick and choose from many ideas to implement. The book even includes a “magic bracelet” to use when separating with instructions on how to introduce and use the bracelet to help comfort your child. My copy of this book is already highlighted, dog-eared and well appreciated.
