Step into the world of the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas with this collection of prequel novellas.

Celaena Sardothien is her kingdom's most feared assassin. Though she works for the powerful Assassin's Guild and its scheming master, Arobynn Hamel, she yields to no one and trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam. But when Arobynn dispatches her on missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, Celaena finds herself acting independently of his wishes and questioning her own allegiance.

If she hopes to escape Arobynn's clutches, Celaena will have to put her faith in her wits and her blade . . . knowing that if she fails, she'll lose not just a chance at freedom but her life.

A prequel to the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series, this collection of five novellas explores the history of this cunning assassin and her enthralling-and deadly-world.

A necessary addition to the series that helps explain characters tantamount to the ending of the series. A look into the child Celaena was before everything under the sun happened to change & mature her into the irresistible, undeniable character she becomes. Would highly recommend reading this book before the first official book in the series.

so good ! I definitely would do as others suggested and read this after heir of fire and before queen of shadows. I'm glad I didn't read this before throne of glass or before heir of fire. it was really great !

I have been looking for this series for quite some time now and I must say I love the whole series, the world and the characters are written with great personality and I can just get lost in the world that is brought to life and leaves me wanting to just keep reading. There are few writer's that really grab me and don't let me go. I must say that I would refer this series to anyone looking for a new world to get lost in.
