About this ebook

All alpha all the time, Sebastian Knight’s confidence never wavers. At least not until Ashley Easton walks back into his life, wanting nothing to do with the playboy who broke her heart.

Sebastian Knight is a closer. Be it a business deal or the woman of his choice, everything he wants is his for the taking. Sexy and irresistible, a wink, a smile, or a handshake always seals the deal. Until Ashley returns at the worst possible time, and everything unravels around him.

The Ashley who returns is sassy and sexy--everything Sebastian craves and he wants a second chance. Despite her reluctance, his sex appeal makes it harder and harder to keep him at arm’s length.

Sebastian might have a talent for sealing the deal, but Ashley is no longer easily charmed. This time he’s going to have to work to win.

Take Me Again is smoking hot and super sweet. Introducing the Knight clan who has a strong sense of sibling support but have lost some of their connection over the course of becoming adults. For Sebastian, this started when he was a rebellious teenager. Unfortunately, his rebellion cost him the only girl he ever truly loved, Ashley, while costing Ashley the only semblance of a family she had ever known. Ashley has held a lot of resentment toward Sebastian, understandably so when the truth is revealed regarding Ashley’s departure from the home they shared to a boarding school in the UK. Her loneliness and sense of loss emanates through the pages. Although she has made a life for herself in London, Ashley hasn’t allowed herself to make a home for herself anywhere or permit other people to form a bond with her. The lack of belonging has had a profound effect on her ability to keep people at a distance. A shocking event within the Knight family has Ashley and Sebastian in the same place at the same time for the first time in ten years. Although Ashley has remained in contact with the oldest of the Knight brothers, Ethan. It is her loyalty and love for the only person who has ever made her feel worthy of a family that she is willing to endure Sebastian’s presence. Sebastian has embraced his playboy image for the last decade, little realising he is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy of the very thing he never wanted to become, his father. It is Ashley’s return and the eye-opening chain of events within his family which act as a wake-up call to Sebastian. It is Sebastian’s character development that is the true heart of Take Me Again. I loved witnessing the transformation from shallow playboy to romantic, loyal, protective, caring dreamboat. it is Ashley that is the driving force behind his transformation and the prize at the end of the journey, healing old wounds along the way for both Ashley and Sebastian. There is a lot of detail regarding the other Knight siblings carefully crafted into Take Me Again paving the way for their individual stories. I am excited to see what the future has in store for them all 😍

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Carly Phillips kicks off the new year with a brand new series and this first book is a fantastic start! Sebastian Knight is the third out of four siblings, with two older brothers, Ethan and Parker and a baby sister, Sierra. They all work together in the family business Knight Time Technology. Sebastian has always been the closer for the company, but he's also always been the one who has never had a serious relationship in his life and he's not interested in settling down. The one woman who he might have been interested in and out of his life by the time he was eighteen and he hasn't seen her in years. Ashley Easton is as independent as they come and not necessarily because she wants to be. Her father died when she was young and from then on, her mother jumped from man to man looking for the next one to take care of her. When Ashley's mom married the Knight siblings father, she finally had a family until an incident caused her to head off to boarding school leaving behind the boy who had been her sounding board and the one she wanted more than her next breath, Sebastian. When Ashley returns to the States, she comes back to help a friend, but knows she's going to come face to face with Sebastian. She still holds quite a grudge for the part he played in her ending up in boarding school and while she'll try to be civil, she doesn't want to interact with him if she doesn't have to. When the two reconnect and have to work together to solve a problem with Knight Time Technology, it's clear there is still a connection, but will she be able to put the past behind them? I absolutely devoured this book! It was one I did not want to put down because I had to find out what happened. The story was well developed and the characters were all likable and easy to connect with. This was a great start to this new series and I can't wait to see what Carly Phillips has in store for the remaining siblings!

Take Me Again is absolutely one of the best books I've ever read from Carly Phillips. It is the first book in her new Knight Brothers series and I absolutely am in love with this family after just one book. Let me just say that Sebastian Knight wasn't my favorite person at the start of the book, yet ended up being my favorite character ever from Ms. Phillips. I did love that when a mirror was put in front of his face of his past actions, he finally didn't like what was there and decided to make a change. Sebastian wanting to change all comes from his former step-sister Ashley Easton returning to New York when his brother Ethan's wife passes away. The chemistry between Sebastian and Ashley was amazing from the moment they saw each other again, even if neither one of them was really looking for a relationship. Sebastian and Ashley not only have amazing chemistry, but they worked well together when the Knight family business needs them to work together to solve a problem with one of the biggest contracts for the business. I have to say that Sebastian and Ashley are one of the hottest couples Ms. Phillips has ever written. Once they finally gave into their attraction, they were so smoking hot together, they steamed up my kindle screen. I loved that they fit together so well and my favorite thing was the fact that Sebastian knew he was in love first. There is just something about the hero falling first that gives me all the happy feels! I love how patient Sebastian was with Ashley as she realized her feelings. Take Me Again was a wonderful start to the Knight Brothers series. I totally fell in love with Sebastian and Ashley and their second chance romance was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to see what happens with Parker, Ethan and Sierra in future books. Rating: 5 Stars (A+) Review copy provided by publisher
