About this ebook

The author of the “sparkling” and “steamy” (Entertainment Weekly) Never Kiss a Duke returns with the delightful third book in the Hazards of Dukes series as a rigid duke enters into marriage with a rebellious lady.

Thaddeus, the new Duke of Hasford, holds his new title reluctantly, but his sense of duty is strong. Task number one: find a wife and secure an heir. He thinks he’s found the perfect choice in Lady Jane Capel—until her sister Lavinia bursts onto the scene. Vivacious, rebellious, and strikingly beautiful, Lavinia is determined to keep him away from her shy, sweet sister. And she’s also determined not to think so much about his broad chest and strong thighs.

When Lady Lavinia and Thaddeus end up in the most compromising position, witnessed by Lavinia’s mother and nearly everyone at a party, they’re forced to get married to protect their reputations. With no love between them, but with an heir to conceive, they strike a bargain in bed. Only Lavinia demands passion, and Thaddeus complies, with both of them realizing this marriage of convenience may turn into much more...

This steamy historical romance novel by Megan Frampton is a must-read for fans of the genre, featuring a marriage of convenience that turns into much more between the Duke of Hasford and the vivacious Lady Lavinia. Perfect for fans of Sarah MacLean and other popular regency romance authors.

A great storyline where Lavinia tries to keep her sister Jane out of the matrimonial path of Thaddeus who is a duke. Well as a result of trying to sabotage their relationship, Lavinia and Thaddeus accidentally fall into a compromising situation that causes them to wed. Not what either of them wanted. Unhappy Thaddeus thinks he can deal with the situation by making a plan. No love, no attachment, just great sɛx to procreate an heir. After that they can live separate lives. Well Lavinia is a force of nature. She is funny, fiercely loyal to those who she loves and deserve it and is maintaining a major secret from society. Thaddeus is a former military man prior to becoming a duke and he is not thrilled about being a duke. Lavinia gets under his skin and starts to make him think more with his feelings that he was not in touch with. But the hilarious part was he needed instructions on love making and who better than self-educated Lavinia to teach him. She would tease him and make him laugh and somewhat smile. This dang plan of his was in their way of having a happy relationship. None the less they fell in love with each other. They could not tell each other. When Jane had a crisis, Lavinia wisps her away to the country leaving Thaddeus behind. It was not what she really wanted but this dang plan of Thaddeus was in her way of a happy ending. Both Lavinia and Thaddeus were truly miserable without the other. But what to do. A very fun read. I do recommend it.
