Miles made me fall harder for him in Hard To Fake. He is top shelf book boyfriend material. Charming. Swoony. Gorgeous. Absolutely possessive and deliciously protective. Brooke is like the other half of his heart. She won my heart too. She is sweet and sassy and her heart is beautiful. They were forbidden. They were inevitable. This is the second book in the series. Their story begins in Hard to Fake. While Brooke is continuing to figure out how to move her career forward, Miles has been dealing with a crisis of his own. When Brooke decides she needs a roommate to make ends meet, Miles comes to her rescue again. Miles has clearly had feelings for Brooke for a very long time. Can’t put this book down. The next book can’t get her fast enough!!

Book 2 starts right where book 1 finished so please make sure you have read Hard to Fake before picking Hard to Take up. Brooke and Miles haven’t had it easy but we all know the road to love can be bumpy but when Brooke needs somewhere to live Miles has no hesitation in offering her a place to stay. What follows is an entertaining read as these two try to make just being roommates work….. I’m loving this couple and watching them try to work out being roommates was at times hilarious
