Ratings and reviews

I like that the setting is cold and unfamiliar and that it is a small town setting with the law enforcement which is a very honest take on red tape. I have to say that the method of killing was interessting and different and that again there was some referal to a historic figure always pulls it all together nicely. The devolvement of the killer was realistic (Like with Ted Bundy) but the spree I found was too quick and the end was lacking a bit of tension. Very good read!

I fell in love with the Dreams and Reality series w with Tortured Dreams and I had to read this book immediately. I have Kindle Unlimited and very rarely buy a book. This is the exception. I need more of this crazy crew of serial killer hunters.The characters are well developed, there is humor and humanity all wrapped up in a great storyline that keeps me wanting more.

Another amazing STCU novel featuring the more than slightly creepy Aislinn Cain & her dysfunctional teammates. These books are excitingly fast paced & gripping. Even though the novels are quite dark at times you can't help but be a little in awe of the characters abilities to hunt down the worst of the worst. Highly recommended read!!
