I could feel the difference the first day I started the program,energy level,motivation have been going to start exercising for the previous 18 months,I did after day 1 and plan to continue for a lifetime... I found this when it first came out and even though I grew up vegetarian and thought I knew my stuff it was wonderful to have Dr. Fuhrman's perspective and experience. His use of the word #FoodNoise stuck with me the most. All the rules we grow up with to optimize our nutrition and try to sift out the science from the non-science out there on nutrition while also accomplishing our life goals... it was absolutely a relief to read it all from an authority on the subject I could trust. Whew. I've modified the things in this book to fit my lifestyle only slightly but this, and his fasting book, remain the ones I go back to when I need to reread the basics again.

Explains how foods impact our health and arms you with everything you could need to reverse any heath issues you are faced with. Mine was weight loss and I'm pleased with my results and new way of life.
