I really enjoyed this story. It does take some suspension of disbelief, but it is a great story. James and Jules may be the oddest couple I have read, with the exception of paranormal stories. Following their antics as they find their way is fun. There are some twists and turns, and definitely a surprise or two. Interesting read! I received an ARC of this book of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.

Jules and James are fire together! From the beginning there is an attraction that they can’t deny and they act on it pretty quickly. What a steamy lesson for Jules who has lived her life as a man! I did have to sustain belief a bit through the story and the reason for that also hindered the authenticity of the time period. Nevertheless, this was a multi-layered story that kept me enthralled from the beginning.
