About this ebook

Billionaire Harker has everything he wants, except a child.

He’s finally chosen the mother. Alison is brilliant, kind and hard-working. Her genes will mesh perfectly with his. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s spent the last year fantasizing about taking her to his bed and doing all kinds of deliciously wicked things to her.

Alison can’t believe that her boss wants her to have his kid and that he wants to do it the old-fashioned way. She can’t imagine having sex with him. He’s Harker. Sure he’s kind of sexy in a dark, brooding way and when he barks orders her body naturally responds, but still…sex with Harker? She can’t do that, or can she? His offer is hard to refuse, and she’d only have to be with him until she got pregnant. It shouldn’t take long, right?

This steamy, later in life, friends to lovers, romantic comedy will have you laughing out loud. Harker is brusque, alpha and bossy. Alison is fine with that in the workplace. He is her boss after all, but she’s not sure about having his child. He's determined to have her in his life and his bed. All he has to do is find the right price. Everyone has one.

This is the full four-book series. Book four ends with Harker and Alison's HEA.

Harker wants a baby, a family, someone to love and love him back. Although he won't admit it, even to himself, he also wants Alison. He comes up with the brilliant idea of contracting Alison to have his baby, and when she agrees, with certain stipulations, they marry a week later. They get off to a rough start. Alison did not have an attorney look over the contract before she signed it, and when she finally does, she feels like a fool. She is furious. When she finds out she is pregnant, she finds herself wanting Harker constantly for sex, but not the meals they used to eat together, or the just being together. When the baby comes, Harker is in love, with baby Irene and Alison. Alison, however is done. She wants a divorce. Harker cannot bear to let her go. Will he lose her in the end? This box set is amazing! I snort laughed, and I actually cried near the end of the fourth book. Harker is comes off as cold and hard, but he's just a broken little boy deep down. Alison is quirky and smart, and just what he needs. She is also warm and generous, which is what makes him fall for her in the first place. Their HEA is very hard won, and so very sweet. If you have enjoyed the La Petite Mort Club series at all, you will love this. Each story runs into the next, so I'm so glad they were published here together. This five star read is one-click worthy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this whole series. Harker and Alison had a frustrating and sexy time together. I was engrossed in each story and had a hard time putting it down. I was frustrated at Harker a lot of the times and couldn't understand why he was acting the way he did, but by the end of the set I started to think a lot differently. I love how Harker and Alison had help from people who were close to them and they sort of pushed them to do what needed to be done for everyone to be happy. This set was steamy, emotional, and had a wonderful story line that I got sucked into from the beginning. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who loves steamy romances.
