Age 12 was the first time Jason Scotts saw a friend of his dad's do certain magic tricks that were so simple; yet really quite astonishing. He knew that it was something he had to learn how to do himself. He remembers the one where his dad's friend rubbed the coin behind his neck and then the coin disappeared - with no shirt on and virtually ball headed. How can that be? So where did the coin go? It fascinated him to the point where he just had to know. Throughout his teenage years as he was growing up, going to see magic shows and afterward talking to his friends about how certain tricks were done infused his desire to not only know how to do basic tricks but showing others how to do it as well. But not every time though; only if they really wanted to learn and was passionate about it as much as he was. He's pretty good at it now and impresses his nieces and nephews with tricks that knock their socks off.
