While this is a part of a series, you do not have to read the prior ones to understand and enjoy this one. I personally haven't read the prior ones. I was totally engrossed while reading about Zoey and Sebastian. I also enjoyed the dual POV format of this book. Getting that glimpse into the two characters' thoughts really helped me to understand them. This helped me with Zoey here. Seeing why see married Trevor while still in love with Sebastian was a big hurdle for me until getting her perspective. This is a very sexy story. I would recommend to any adult especially if you love second chance romance with a first love.
