I LOVED this app, and made quite a few purchases. Now.... not so much. So tired of the lies, the misleading "promotions", the gambling approach to trying to guilt you into purchases, the 45 seconds of splash screens of fake wins that I often can't skip, etc. After yesterday I'm done. I followed all of the stipulations to a promotion that they emailed me, to get 2 free items. After 2 hours with "support" I was basically told "you're wrong, that promotion didn't exist, and you're out of luck"

I have shopped Temu for several years and have always enjoyed shopping like a "billionair". But recently they shipped everything in my cart and charged my payment on file, which over-drafted me big time. I usually put things in my cart as a reminder to look at something later, then I take it out. This was very upsetting to me as it put me in s hole with my bank, which I'm still trying to dig out of.

I love that I can find stuff at low prices and a lot of it comes from local warehouses so it ships fast. However, they really get you with the "promotions" like when you're going to "win 5 free items by inviting friends". So, you share and invite and there's often glitches where your friend will follow your link and it still won't give you the credit toward your free items, or it cuts the credit you get in half every time someone clicks your link. Just don't waste your time with their "promos".
