Ratings and reviews

For reading only, this is a great app. For those books that are read along and audio, the audio will not play if you if you don't have some sort of network connection, even though both book and audio book are downloaded. Shiuld be able to.l kisten to the audio when off line too. Also, the audio book will only read a few pages, then stop. Have to close and reopen the app/book to get the audio to start again. Like I said for reading only, this app is great audio hook not so much.

Loved the app until the last update around 5/8/24. Since then I've been having problems with the app not opening or periodically giving me a message that it's not compatible with my phone and I have to close it and reopen it. Other than that, it's been great to download and read books. It's nice that I can scale the text for whatever size I want. I don't really use too many of the other features available. Great that I can download books for plane rides and traveling.

Every time I close the app, whatever book I'm on "loses" the audio narration and acts like it needs downloaded again. This has happened periodically in years past and usually clearing the cashe or restarting the app fixes the issue. But lately, on my new Samsung S24 (with 1 TB of memory) this same old problem is now constantly happening. Every single book I read... It's so irritating.
